Bater Law

We were asked to design a new logo for Bater Law, a small law firm based in Pencoed, South Wales, who specialise in commercial recovery and dispute resolution.

The new logo has two main elements. Firstly, the ‘Bater Law’ wording uses two weights of the same typeface to differentiate the two words. Secondly, there is the ‘B’ brand mark, which can also be used by itself when required.

The primary colour is a deep red, chosen as a colour with sufficient ‘gravity’ for the legal profession. To avoid being too staid, though, it is accompanied by a bold pink highlight colour. This adds a vibrancy reflective of the fact that this is a young, female-led company.

As well as the logo itself, we created a set of stationery and a booklet of brand guidelines to ensure that the new logo and brand look is always applied correctly.
